Ketorolac belongs to a group of drugs called non-steroidal anti-inflammatories for ophthalmic use. It is used to prevent or reduce inflammation in the eyes of patients who have undergone cataract extraction with or without the implantation of an intraocular lens. It is manufactured by Allergan Pharmaceuticals. Ketorolac (0.5%) is available in 5ml.

Ketorolac is the active ingredient and it works by reducing certain chemicals (prostaglandins) in the body that are produced to aid with various functions in the body, leading to a decrease in inflammation and pain.

Ketorolac Opthalmic are indicated in the prevention or reduction of inflammation in the eyes of patients who have undergone cataract extraction with or without the implantation of an intraocular lens.
